Automated detection of mutual gaze in mobile eye-tracking studies of multi-party interactions

This repository includes two Python scripts for ArUco‑marker tracking and face detection, two R scripts for synchronizing scene video-based data with raw mobile eye‑tracking data and for computing and exporting social gaze events (unidirectional and mutual face gaze) in an ELAN‑compatible format. Sample raw and processed quartet data for testing the pipeline are provided, as well as the datasets and R script used for statistical analysis.
