Emerging Technology Adoption Index

The Emerging Tech Adoption Index (ETAI) dataset provides a structured, comparative view of emerging-technology adoption across countries, regions, and industry sectors. Each record represents a country–sector–technology observation and reports (1) a composite Emerging Tech Adoption Index score (0–100) and (2) five underlying pillar scores—Readiness, Investment, Infrastructure, Regulatory Support, and Workforce Capability—also on a 0–100 scale. Records additionally include a categorical maturity stage (Nascent, Emerging, Scaling, Mature) and a qualitative near-term Growth Outlook (Low/Medium/High). Coverage spans 6 global regions (Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North America), 10 sectors (Defense, Education, Energy, Finance, Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Telecom, Transportation), and 10 technology domains (AI, 5G, IoT, Edge Computing, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, AR/VR, Biotech, EVs, Green Hydrogen). The dataset is intended for cross-sectional benchmarking, trend monitoring, and policy/market analysis of technology diffusion and ecosystem readiness.
