资源简介:
After intestinal colonization, S. Typhimurium reaches mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN), where infection is controlled avoiding systemic spread. Although the molecular basis of S. Typhimurium infection has been extensively studied, little is known about how microRNAs (miRNAs) regulate the expression of proteins involved in the Salmonella-host interaction. Study design: eight male and female crossbred weaned piglets, approximately 4 weeks of age, were orally challenged with 10E8 colony forming units of S. Typhimurium. Four randomly chosen infected pigs were necropsied at 2 days post infection (dpi). Ileum samples were aseptically collected immediately after euthanasia and immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen for RNA isolation and small RNA sequencing was performed
