PhenoGO

PhenoGO is a multiorganism database that provides phenotypic context, such as the cell type, disease, and tissue and organ to existing associations between gene products and Gene Ontology (GO) terms as specified in the Gene Ontology Annotations (GOA). Context to identifiers are mapped to general biological ontologies, including the Cell Ontology (CO), phenotypes from the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS), species from Taxonomy of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) taxonomy, and some specialized ontologies as Mammalian Phenotype Ontology (MP) and Mouse Anatomy (MA).PhenoGO是一款多物种数据库，可为基因本体注释（Gene Ontology Annotations，GOA）中规定的基因产物与基因本体（Gene Ontology，GO）术语之间的现有关联，提供细胞类型、疾病、组织与器官等类别的表型上下文信息。该数据库将各类标识符的上下文信息映射至一系列通用生物本体，包括细胞本体（Cell Ontology，CO）、统一医学语言系统（Unified Medical Language System，UMLS）的表型数据、美国国家生物技术信息中心（National Center for Biotechnology Information，NCBI）分类学数据库中的物种信息，以及哺乳动物表型本体（Mammalian Phenotype Ontology，MP）和小鼠解剖学本体（Mouse Anatomy，MA）等专用本体。
