资源简介:

The data were obtained as part of the project entitled: Influence of specimen length on results of biomechanical properties measurements of a muscular fascia – a preliminary study in the context of myofascial pain syndrom pathogenesis, project numer 2023/07/X/NZ4/00620 financed by National Science Center. The project used samples of the fascia lata of domestic dogs collected postmortem from 21 animals (10 males, 11 females) euthanized in veterinary clinics for reasons unrelated to the study. The fascia lata collected from both pelvic limbs was divided into samples of lengths of 5 mm,10 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm (with a 10 mm reserve on both sides - to be placed in the grips of the testing machine) and width of 5 mm. Data set contains row data acquired from static testing machine (Zwick Roell model Z010 TH) equipped with a 500 N load cell during the uniaxial loading of canine fascia lata samples. The testing protocol included pull to failure for evaluation of elastic properties (elastic modulus) and ultimate values of stress and strain of facia samples. The pull to failure protocol included preloading (up to 2N) and pull to failure with a strain rate 𝜀 ̇ = 1%𝑠−1 and designed based on strain control.
