Replication data for: Floristic and phytogeographic analysis of the Sabanas Miravalles in Costa Rica

This dataset contains the complete floristic inventory of the Sabanas Miravalles, a natural savanna ecosystem located on the western slope of Volcán Miravalles, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It was generated through systematic botanical sampling conducted across 25 plots and additional opportunistic collections during fieldwork between 2012 and 2015. The dataset includes species-level identifications of vascular plants, categorized by life form and growth habit, along with associated abundance and frequency data. It supports the analysis of spatial heterogeneity, species dominance, and phytogeographic affinities of this understudied savanna. The data provide a critical baseline for understanding biodiversity patterns in Central American savannas and inform future conservation and management efforts in the region.
