This study generated transcriptome data from pollinators which had been observed to visit apple and cherry trees in New South Wales, Australia with the aim of identifying positive strand RNA viruses. We aimed to gain information on the range of known and putative novel positive strand RNA viruses harboured by orchard pollinators and determine which of these were shared amongst different taxa.
