Transcriptome analysis of seed development in Elaeagnus mollis

Elaeagnus mollis Diels is a rare and endemic woody oil plant in China, highly valued for the rich nutritional components and high-quality fatty acids in its seed oil. To elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying seed development and nutrient accumulation, we performed transcriptome analysis. In this project, high-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) was conducted on E. mollis seeds collected at three distinct developmental stage.
