Klebsiella pneumoniae strain:SCVKPELNT01 Genome sequencing and assembly

Few research have examined the distinctive features of the small colony variations found in clinical isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae, and their existence has not been widely documented. We give an explanation of the strain's distinctive variability in morphology, which is marked by a multi-drug resistance phenotype, a sluggish growth curve, and an improved capacity to build biofilms. Comparing the isolate's biochemical characteristics to those of the control strain revealed inconsistencies. Additionally, we examined the genomic profile of our strain, which possessed acquired antibiotic resistance potential and low-level virulence, in comparison to a hypervirulent strain of the same ST type, Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvKpn), that was isolated from a different UTI case.
