资源简介:
Data for Fang, Yuzhuo, Zeng, Ruiqi, Makoto, Kobayashi, and UTSUMI, Shunsuke. The manuscript, Post-Landslide Interactive Effects of Plant Facilitation and Rill Erosion on Tree Seedling Colonization Toward Restoration, is currently under review in the journal Forest Ecology and Management. The preprint is available at SSRN: https://ssrn.com/abstract=4887473 or http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.4887473.These files contain the survival and growth rates of Abies sachalinensis and Acer mono seedlings, as well as the distance of each seedling to the nearest conspecific neighbors, heterospecific neighbors, and the rill edge.Data were collected from three Artificial Landslide Experimental Sites (ALES) in the Nakagawa Experimental Forest of Hokkaido University. In June, August, and October of 2022, the first growing season after the ALES treatment, we established permanent plots to monitor the performance (i.e. survival and growth rate) of newly recruited seedlings under the impact of new biotic and abiotic factors caused by the landslides.Based on the photos of the plots, we marked the spatial locations of seedlings and rills and used ImageJ (v1.53t) to extract the spatial coordinates. The spatial distribution pattern of seedlings was illustrated based on these coordinates.
