Progress and results of strategic EIA delivery (opinions)

Opinions issued in the Strategic Environmental Assessment (Strategic EIA) procedure on the planning document and the environmental report (for the period 2015 to September 2022). Additional explanation: A strategic EIA is an environmental impact assessment for a planning document, the implementation of which may have a significant impact on the environment, including preparation of the environmental report, discussion of the environmental report, involvement of the public in the discussion of the environmental report and performance of consultations, taking into account the results of the environmental report and consultation thereof in the preparation and use of the planning document for decision-making, as well as providing information on the decision taken in accordance with the procedures laid down in this Law. A strategic EIA is required in the cases specified in Article 4(3), (4) and (5) of the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment and is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Cabinet Regulation No 157 of 23 March 2004 on the procedure for carrying out a strategic environmental impact assessment.
