Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation East of Ashfield Road, Elmswell, Suffolk 2019

This collection comprises photographs, scanned drawing sheets, a site plan, spreadsheet data and a survey statement from an archaeological evaluation of Land East of Ashfield Road, Elmswell, Suffolk. Work was undertaken by Archaeology South-East between October and November 2019. The site was bisected by a substantial medieval ditch, which formed part of the eastern boundary of Boten Haugh Green. A series of ditches representing part of a rectilinear field/enclosure system were also identified, along with evidence of post-medieval land use.
