Supplementation of rumen-protected microalgae high in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to lactating dairy cows: Dynamics of lactation performance, milk and plasma fatty acids, and transfer rate of DHA to milk.
收藏资源简介:
We provide supplementary materials accompanying the manuscript titled “Supplementation of rumen-protected microalgae high in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to lactating dairy cows: Dynamics of lactation performance, milk and plasma fatty acids, and transfer rate of DHA to milk.”These materials include two supplementary tables: Table S1. Nutrient composition of dietary supplements among different treatments (% DM). Table S2. Effect of Spirulina platensis supplementation on milk fatty acid (FA) profiles in dairy cows during the treatment (days 0–21) and washout phases (days 24 and 28). These tables support the main findings by detailing the nutrient characteristics of the diets and the dynamic changes in milk FA composition. The data contribute to understanding how microalgae supplementation affects lipid metabolism and milk nutritional quality in dairy cows.
