Tidal harmonics D2 and D4 in the Gironde and Loire estuaries

This dataset contains the D2 and D4 tidal harmonic amplitudes derived from observed water-level time series in the Loire Estuary (2014–2021, 12 stations) and the Gironde–Garonne system (2017–2022, 10 stations), France, analyzed as a function of river discharge ranges. Water-level data were obtained from the SHOM and Hydroportail databases and analyzed using S_TIDE. The dataset supports the article Influence of Estuarine Turbidity Maximum dynamics and river discharge on tide propagation in two fluvial-estuarine systems in Estuaries and Coasts.
