Dataset for: Effects of Functional Magnetic Stimulation on Pain, Function, and MRI-Derived Outcomes in Athletes with Tibial Bone Stress Injury
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains anonymized participant-level data from a two-arm, parallel-group randomized controlled trial investigating the effects of Functional Magnetic Stimulation combined with standardized physiotherapy rehabilitation in athletes with MRI-confirmed Fredericson grade 2–3 tibial bone stress injury. Participants were allocated to either Functional Magnetic Stimulation plus standardized physiotherapy rehabilitation or standardized physiotherapy rehabilitation alone. Assessments were performed at baseline, 4 weeks, and 16 weeks. The dataset includes demographic, anthropometric, sport-related, clinical, functional, and MRI-derived variables. Outcomes include activity-related tibial pain assessed with the Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), lower-limb function assessed with the Greek version of the Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS-GR), Fredericson MRI grade, and MRI-derived bone marrow edema extent. A README/codebook file is provided with variable definitions, coding information, outcome descriptions, anonymization details, data quality information, and recommended citation guidance.
