资源简介:
Perfectionistic individuals show a heightened sensitivity to mistakes and failure – known as perfectionistic reactivity. There is a growing body of work that has sought to examine this phenomenon. This has included studies examining relationships between perfectionism and certain outcomes (e.g., anxiety), but it also includes studies that have adopted some form of experimental manipulation. Such studies seek to induce failure or mistakes so as to provide the necessary foundations for perfectionistic reactivity. While systematic reviews and meta-analyses have been conducted on the former, no such review of studies that involve experimental manipulation has been performed. Consequently, we aim to provide the first such review. unknown other
