VPRS 16980 Level Books

Survey books are used by surveyors in the field to survey allotments (Field Books) and water levels / tables (Level Books). Each page contains drawings, plots and/or annotations showing angles and distances from guide points and (in some cases) the outline and details of subdivisions and constructions thereon.Information from survey books is used to draw up plans to plot water, sewerage and drainage works.Familiarity with survey techniques is necessary to make full use of these records.The P1 consignment relates to levels taken for plans in the town of St. Arnaud prior to installation of sewerage.
