We collected 32-channel electroencephalogram (EEG) data from 41 participants while they learned the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) algorithm in a real classroom setting. Participants from the Biomedical Engineering major were assigned to Group 1, and those from the Education major were assigned to Group 2. During the experiment, each participant learned the EMD algorithm by watching a pre-recorded instructional video. The dataset includes EEG recordings from three repeated learning sessions, as well as eyes-open resting-state data collected before and after each learning session.
