The Honourable Sir Laurence Street was appointed in May 1983 to be sole Commissioner to make enquiry as to: "Whether on or about 11 August 1977 Murray Frederick Farquhar influenced or attempted to influence the outcome of committal proceedings on nine charges laid under Section 173 of the Crimes Act, 1900, against Kevin Emery Humphreys ... and if so, whether the said Murray Farquhar was acting at the direction or request of the Honourable Neville Kenneth Wran". The proceedings of the Royal Commission commenced on 16 May 1983 and concluded on 7 July 1983. This series comprises a bound set of the transcript, in three volumes (Vol I-III). (6/14844-46). 3 vols.
