VPRS 12884 Register of Formation of Lanes and Private Street Construction

This volume documented the formation of lanes and private street construction in the area administered by the Collingwood Council.It contained the names of streets and, where a right of way was formed, included details of apportionment of costs. There was also a summary of accounts which provided details of property owners who owed money and the amount owed to council as well as related correspondence, such as letters from residents acknowledging liability for the construction and copies of letters sent by the Town Clerk demanding payments.
