The role of the DRW1 mutation on the DNA 6mA abundance in rice grains. [6mA IP-seq]

DRW1 modulates the DNA 6mA levels at loci involved in hormone pathway, photosynthesis, carbon metabolism as well as cell division and proliferation . Overall design: Genomic DNA was extracted from ZH11 and drw1 seeds at 3 DAP, treated with RNase A and sonicated to produce ~250 bp fragments, which were incubated with 6mA antibody. After extensive washing, bound DNA fragments were eluted. These DNA fragments were used to construct DNA 6mA library, and high-throughput DNA 6mA IP-seq was conducted using the Illumina nova6000 platform.
