RNA-Seq profiling of ER-/Erbb2+ mouse breast cancer cells with ER+ and ER- cellular origins

Mouse mammary gland tumors were induced by expressing Erbb2 from ER+/RFP+ and ER-/RFP- mammary gland cells. ER+/RFP+/Erbb2+ tumor cells progressively lose ER expression to become ER-/RFP+/Erbb2+ tumor cells. ER-/RFP+/Erbb2+ tumor cells originating from ER+/RFP+ mammary gland cells and ER-/RFP-/Erbb2+ tumor cells originating from ER-/RFP- mammary gland cells were separated, and their RNA expression profiles were assayed by RNA-Seq. Samples from ER-/RFP+/Erbb2+ tumor cells with an ER+/RFP+ origin: 1214-RFP-pos (S26), 1222-RFP-pos (S28), and 1224-RFP-pos (S30); Samples from ER-/RFP-/Erbb2+ tumor cells with an ER-/RFP- origin: 1214-RFP-neg (S27), 1222-RFP-neg (S29), and 1224-RFP-neg (S31).
