Recent evidence from scrutinising the sequencing data from thousands of cancer exomes and genomes pointed to a specific mutational signature speculated to arise in patients with a previous history of psoralen exposure. Here we perform whole-genome sequencing on tumours arising in rats post-psoralen exposure, to study the conseqeunce of a psorale exposure to DNA.
