Observatoire volcanologique du Piton de la Fournaise (OVPF) of the Institut de physique du globe de Paris (IPGP) operates a network of ground markers whose positions are measured periodically during dedicated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) field campaigns. This network, in its current configuration, was installed in the early 2000s on the terminal cone - the most active and deformed part of the volcano - complementing the observatory's permanent ground deformation network. This dataset presents calculated positions from 27 measurement campaigns conducted during the 2014-2023 eruptive cycle of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano. • Mode of acquisition : rapid-static mode. • Acquision time: 3 minutes (with one measurement every second) • Accuracies: around 0.5-1 cm horizontally and 1-2.5 cm vertically. • Equipments: in 2014 Ashtech Z-Xtreme receivers with GeodeticIV antennas; from early 2015 to 2020, Spectra Promark 800 combined antenna/receiver units; and from 2020 onwards, Spectra SP85 combined antenna/receiver units. • Processing: differential mode using data from the GITG station of the OVPF-IPGP permanent network as reference. • Used softwares: Ashtech Solution software in 2014, and from august 2015 onwards, Spectra Geospatial Survey Office software. • Geodetic system/projection: East North Elevation positions in WGS84-UTM 40S.
