资源简介:
This study focuses on the whole-genome resequencing of 12 fungal strains isolated from an industrial wasteland in Vieux-Charmont, France, by the Chrono-environment laboratory at University Franche-Comte. As part of the EU HORIZON-BIOSYSMO project, the research aims to uncover the genetic foundations of fungal metal tolerance. By analyzing these genome in detail, the study seeks to identify specific genes and pathways that enable the fungi to thrive in environments contaminated with heavy metals. The findings are expected to enhance our understanding of fungal adaptation and resilience, potentially leading to novel bioremediation approaches and applications in environmental cleanup efforts
This work was developed as part of the BIOSYSMO project, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101060211.
