This PhD thesis deals with two fluid dynamics problems in the Stokes flow regime: (1) sedimentation of polydisperse suspensions, and (2) dynamics of flexible sheets in shear flow. This dataset provides the raw data used for the thesis, generated using numerical simulations. The numerical methods include continuum modeling, Stokesian dynamics and Boundary integral method.
本博士论文聚焦斯托克斯流动(Stokes flow)工况下的两类流体力学问题:(1)多分散悬浮体系的沉降行为;(2)剪切流中柔性薄板的动力学特性。本数据集收录了本论文研究依托的、通过数值模拟生成的原始数据,所用数值方法包括连续介质建模、斯托克斯动力学(Stokesian dynamics)以及边界积分法(Boundary integral method)。
