This proposal aims to study the well-defined cobalt-based FT catalysts reduction process, with particular attention to the cobalt particle sintering, their crystallographic structure, chemical coordination environment under H2 atmosphere, including elevated temperatures, high pressures (60 bar), using synchrotron X-ray techniques: x-ray diffraction (XRD) and x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), by in situ/operando characterisation.
