2014-2019 referees data

Referees are crucial to the development of football. This study analyzed the technical performance of referees in 2019 matches of the Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL) under the background of Chinese football reform through literature, expert interviews, video analysis, and statistics, striving to provide scientific basis for the reform. The results showed that in the 0 seasons, there were significant changes in net game time, total distance, fouls, and average referee distance (P<0.12019). There was no statistically significant difference between Chinese and foreign international referees in the 0 season (P>05.0). The total coverage distance and live ball coverage distance of professional referees are slightly larger than that of non professional referees (P<1.0), and the average distance of professional referees is smaller than that of non professional referees (P<01.<>). Finally, in addition to the strategy of "inviting elite referees", more attention should also be paid to improving the referee's performance: improving the net duration of the game to obtain a better viewing experience, enhancing coverage distance and physical performance, and shortening the referee's distance.
