Trust in protecting media freedom in Hungary 2023

Professional journalistic associations are the most trusted actors regarding the protection of media freedom in Hungary in 2023, as they score 2.9 from a scale of 1 to 5. Interestingly, the European Union is the second most trusted actor, ahead of journalists themselves with 2.8 and 2.7 ranking, respectively. The least trusted actors are the government and media owners, ranking both only 2.3 on the scale.
