H3O-De Kempen – Geological support points for geological units

Antenna are fictitious drilling points which are combined during interpolation with the drilling points to steer the depth or thickness drift so that logical spatial drift is obtained. Antenna offices are particularly used in areas where the density of drilling points is too low. The location of an antenna point and the associated depth or thickness of the unit are often estimated on the basis of area knowledge but may also be based, for example, on interpretations from sounding.
