15 Litopenaeus vannamei intestinal samples were collected from 15 aquaculture ponds in Qingdao city, China. Shrimps of these 15 ponds were fed five different diets with triplicate for each diet. Total bacterial community DNA of 15 samplse were isolated and universal V3-V4 region of the 16 S RNA gene was amplified. Purified amplicons were pooled in equimolar and paired-end sequenced on an Illumina MiSeq platform. Data was analysed to differ the intestinal microbiota of shrimps fed with different diets.
