资源简介:
Stable hydrogen (H) isotopes and mitochondrial COI sequence data can be
used to investigate long-distance movements of species. We collected
African bush-cricket (Ruspolia differens) specimens from Uganda, Kenya and
Zambia from 2016 to 2020. We analysed the stable H isotope ratios from
nymphal and adult wing chitin (specimens collected from 12 study regions).
We used cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) genetic sequences for
population genetic analysis (specimens collected from 17 study regions).
For our analyses, we recorded the specimen's sex, phase of
development (nymph, non-swarming, or swarming), and collection date and
region.
