资源简介:
Rotation Field α(ℓ) — Versions 1.4 and 1.41 (MASTER-Calibrated and Extended Validation) These releases present the fully calibrated and robustness-validated rotation field α(ℓ) derived from Planck 2018 polarization data, forming part of the 22 Blue — The Heartbeat of the Universe research series on large-scale parity violation and cosmic birefringence. Version 1.4 applies full MASTER deconvolution to the α–α angular-power spectrum, confirming a coherent anisotropic birefringence dipole aligned near Galactic (ℓ, b) ≈ (278°, 18°). The pattern is consistent across both SMICA and NILC component-separation methods and remains stable under masking and calibration variations. Version 1.41 extends the calibration with improved MASTER window-function corrections, half-mission and frequency cross-checks, and complete reproducibility materials. Results confirm the persistence of an 8.5 σ isotropic + 4–5 σ directional rotation field, verifying that the signal is a genuine anisotropic feature of the CMB polarization rather than an instrumental artifact. The rotation field α(ℓ) quantifies the polarization-angle rotation of the cosmic microwave background, revealing a parity-violating component of the Universe consistent with a slowly varying pseudoscalar (axion-like) field coupling to photons. This dataset provides the institutional mirror for the final Planck 2018 CMB rotation-field results. Files include αₗₘ maps (for L ≤ 10), MASTER-calibrated α–α power spectra, calibration and linearity tests, and reproducibility bundles for both v 1.4 and v 1.41.
