MASW and MHVSR Dataset for the Geological Deposits of the Kashmir Basin, Jammu and Kashmir

The project involves the microtremor horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio testing (MHVSR) and multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) testing at about 192 in the ten districts of the Kashmir Valley. This is a one-of-a-kind study for the Kashmir region generating a large dataset. Researchers in geotechnical earthquake engineering may use the data to determine the dynamic parameters in the study region and to assess the bedrock depth using advanced methods.
