16S amplicon sequencing of mice treated with inulin diet

Here we present the data from the 16S amplicon sequencing of the feces of mice treated with inulin (10%) diet or a control (AIN93M) diet for 3-4 weeks. Three sets of experiments were performed: 1) SPF C57BL/6 mice that were fed inulin or control diets for 3-4 weeks, 2) Germ-free swiss mice that were previously colonized with microbiota from Swiss SPF mice maintened for 3-4 weeks in inulin or control diet and then fed with a conventional chow for 3 weeks, 3) Mice colonized with a synthetic microbiota composed of 13 bacteria species (SM13) were fed inulin or control diets for 3-4 weeks.
