University Staff’s Reflections on Generative AI in Higher Education: Insights from Social Media

This dataset supports the study exploring university staff’s opinions on the use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), specifically focusing on ChatGPT, within higher education. The research utilises social media posts shared on X (formerly Twitter). Posts written or targeted towards higher education staff containing discussions about ChatGPT and higher education were analysed. The dataset includes the original post, initial coding by the research team, included/excluded, reasons for exclusion.
