Unravelling signatures of dietary protein sparing and fiber tolerance in Penaeus vannamei for development of cost effective feeds through omics approaches

This project aims to investigate the molecular and physiological responses of Penaeus vannamei to varying dietary fiber inclusion using omics approaches. By identifying key biomarkers, metabolic pathways, and microbial signatures associated with protein sparing and fiber tolerance, the research seeks to develop cost-effective, nutritionally balanced feed formulations that enhance shrimp growth, health, and overall production efficiency.
