###MRI data
This dataset contains fMRI data from six subjects ('sub-01', 'sub-02', 'sub-03', 'sub-04', 'sub-05', and 'sub-06'). Each subject data contains three types of fMRI data ('trainPerception', 'testPerception', 'testImagery') collected over multiple scanning sessions ('ses-01', 'ses-02', ...).
Each scanning session consisted of functional (EPI) images, fieldmap data ('magnitude1','magnitude2','magnitude', 'phasediff'), and anatomical (inplane T2) images. The functional EPI images covered the entire brain (TR, 1000 ms; TE, 30 ms; flip angle, 65°; FOV, 192 × 192 mm; voxel size, 2 × 2 × 2 mm; slice gap, 0 mm; number of slices, 76; multiband factor, 6) and inplane T2-weighted anatomical images were acquired with the same slices used for the EPI (TR, 11,000 ms; TE, 59 ms; flip angle, 160°; FOV, 192 × 192 mm; voxel size, 0.75 × 0.75 × 2.0 mm). The dataset also includes a T1-weighted (T1w) magnetization-prepared rapid acquisition gradient-echo (MP-RAGE) fine-structural images for each subject (TR, 2000 ms; TE, 1.97 ms; TI, 900 ms; flip angle, 10°; voxel size; FOV, 256 × 256 mm, 1.0 × 1.0 × 1.0 mm). The T1-weighted images were scanned only once for each subject in a separate scanning session and are stored in 'ses-anatomy' directories. The T1-weighted images were defaced by pydeface (https://github.com/poldracklab/pydeface).
###Task event files
Task event files for 'trainPerception' and 'testPerception' data shared common contents ('sub-*_ses-*_task-trainPerception*/testPerception*_run-*_events.tsv'), containing recorded event during fMRI runs. Each column of the task event files represents:
- 'onset': onset time of an event (sec)
- 'duration': duration of the event (sec)
- 'trial_type': type of the event (2: Stimulus presentation block, 3: Evaluation block, -1: Initial rest block, -2: Inter-trial rest block, and -3: End rest block)
- 'stimID': video file name presented in a stimulus block (1-2196)
- 'stimLabel': stimulus video index of a presented stimulus (1-2180)
- 'evalScore01-05': five scores evaluated by the subject
- 'evalStim01-05': video file name evaluated by the subject (1-2196)
- 'evalSent01-05': caption sentence index evaluated by the subject (1-20)
Task event files for 'testImagery' data ('sub-*_ses-*_task-testImagery*_run-*_events.tsv') contain recorded event during fMRI runs. Each column of the task event files represents:
- 'onset': onset time of an event (sec)
- 'duration': duration of the event (sec)
- 'trial_type': type of the event (2: Imagery block, 3: Stimulus presentation block, -1: Initial rest block, -2: Preparation block, -3: After-imagery rest block, -4: After-stimulus rest block, -5: Evaluation block, -6: Inter-trial rest block, and -7: End rest blocks)
- 'cueID': video file name of target video cued in a prepartion block (1-2196)
- 'imageryID': video file name imagined in a imagery block (1-2196)
- 'stimID': video file name presented in a stimulus block (1-2196)
- 'accuracy': accuracy scores evaluated by the subject (0-5)
- 'vividness': vividness scores evaluated by the subject (0-5)
## Stimulus videos
We used short video clips collected by Cowen and Keltner (2017). The videos can be requested from the following URL managed by the authors: https://goo.gl/forms/XErJw9sBeyuOyp5Q2.
