资源简介:
**NOTE** This is a single site analysis, but results for all sites are included in the output attached to this record for ease of review & reuse. General observations are recorded below, and details about specific institutions can be discovered in the raw output. - For many sites, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Other were often the most commonly utilized specialties in this cohort, which could indicate a lack of specialty granularity or that patients more often see generalists rather than specialists to manage their care. In sites with more granular mappings, Endocrinology and Podiatry were commonly utilized. - Specialty utilization is often anomalous in the pregnancy diagnosis cluster, as this subgroup of patients often has different patterns of care compared to a more general population. This was often reflected with an anomalously high level of OBGYN specialties but anomalously low specialty utilization in other categories. - The opthalmic diagnosis cluster was often frequently associated with an anomalously high proportion of visits with an Opthalmology specialist. - The Musculoskeletal/Dermatologic cluster was occasionally associated with an anomalously high proportion of visits with a surgical specialist, likely due to the need for surgical intervention to remove ulcers or other lesions.
