PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp sheet shredder apparatus capable of varying a sheet feeding speed according to the mode of a fed pulp sheet. SOLUTION: A pulp sheet shredder apparatus of this invention comprises: a paper feeding part for feeding a pulp sheet one by one; a first conveying part for carrying the sheet in a stream; a humidifying part for adding moisture to the sheet surface from above the first conveying part; a second conveying part for carrying the sheet in a stream again; a cutting part for cutting the sheet into small pieces with a cutting blade; a mode detection device arranged near the second conveying part for detecting the mode of the conveyed pulp sheet; a comparison determination device for comparing the detection value of the mode detection device with a preset reference value; and a carrying speed control device for varying the carrying speed of the first conveying part according to the result thereof.
