资源简介:
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) often results in persistent learning and memory deficits, likely due to disrupted hippocampal circuitry underlying these processes. Precise temporal control of hippocampal neuronal activity is thought to be important for memory encoding and retrieval and is supported by oscillations that dynamically organize single unit firing. Using high-density laminar electrophysiology, we found a loss of oscillatory power across CA1 lamina, with a profound, layer-specific reduction in theta-gamma phase amplitude coupling in injured rats. Interneurons from injured animals were less strongly entrained to theta and gamma oscillations, but both interneurons and pyramidal cells from injured animals became more strongly entrained to theta during periods of high theta power. During quiet immobility, sharp-wave ripple amplitudes were lower in injured animals compared to shams. These results reveal physiological deficits across brain states that may contribute to TBI-associated l..., , , # Data from: Disrupted hippocampal theta-gamma coupling and spike-field coherence following experimental traumatic brain injury

## Description of the data and file structure
All ephys data is stored as .mat files.
Each Animal# folder contains down-sampled (from 30k to 3k) traces from each of the 64 electrodes from all 3 days of recordings in the familiar (OF) and novel (RAM) environment. Channels are arranged in order so that channel 1 is the top of the electrode shank and channel 16 or 32 is the bottom of the electrode shank (depending on electrode type). Channel 17 or 33 would be the top of the adjacent shank. A time vector is also included for each recording.
Single unit data is saved in a single .mat file, and a key is provided to indicate important information about each individual unit (row).
Velocity data is saved as a single .mat file with velocities associated with each sample. A key is provid...,
