ChIP-chip analyses of lysine-9 trimethylated histone H3 in clr3-CDx2 and wild type cells. Chromodomain-mediated HDAC loading sustains self-templated propagation of extended heterochromatin domain. DNA co-purified with H3K9 trimethylated chromatin was random-prime PCR amplified and analyzed using custom 60mer Agilent array that tiles Schizosaccharomyces pombe genome in 300bp intervals.
