ELTE/DUTH Bacterial collection, 16s rRNA gene sequences of 101 isolates. ELTE/DUTH Bacterial collection

A collection of bacterial isolates was compiled as part of a collaboration between Democritus University of Thrace (Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Alexandroupolis, Greece) and ELTE Eötvös Loránd University (Department of Microbiology, Budapest, Hungary) funded by a Joint Research & Technology Program between Greece and Hungary, co-financed by Greece, Hungary and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund-ERDF). The 16s rRNA gene sequences are provided for 101 of those isolates. Isolates #1-#94 were provided by Dr. Károly Márialigeti (ELTE Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, Hungary). Isolates #101-#128 were provided by Dr. Maria Panopoulou (Department of Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupolis, Greece. The collection is maintained by Project Leader Dr. Sotiria Boukouvala (Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupolis, Greece).
