North Atlantic Anthropogenic Carbon Budget over 2005-2021

This release points to the version of the dataset at the time of initial submission of the manuscript "A Propagating Anthropogenic Carbon Signal in the North Atlantic Ocean" by Bajon et al. (2026) for publication in Global Biogeochemical Cycles. It provides a yearly anthropogenic carbon (Cant) budget (storage rate, net lateral advection and air-sea fluxes) for the North Atlantic Ocean between 2005 and 2021. The Cant inventory and the 26.5ºN and A25 Cant transports contributing to net lateral advection are also provided at monthly resolution (see the study for details).Feel free to contact me if you have any question regarding the use of this data.
