Structure of soil bacterial community in Bialowieza Primeval Forest

In this project we investigate the influence of vegetation composition and soil physicochemical properties on the bacteriome structure and metabolic potential of soil microorganisms in five dominant forest types within the Bialowieza National Park: (i) coniferous forest, (ii) mixed coniferous forest, (iii) broadleaved forest, (iv) mixed broadleaved forest, and (v) alder forest.
