Artificial perches - Serra de Inhoaíba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The raw data consist of records of bird use of artificial perches in a degraded area of the Atlantic Forest, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Data were collected through direct field observations at 10 artificial perches over 22 non-consecutive days during the dry season, totaling 258 hours of sampling. Observations were conducted continuously from 6:00 to 18:00. For each recorded landing, the date, time, bird species, and number of records were noted. Environmental data (wind, temperature, and precipitation) were obtained from nearby meteorological stations and associated with the biological records.
