In this study, we aimed to identify nucleotide-binding domain and leucine-rich repeat (NLR) genes potentially responsible for powdery mildew resistance within Ren6 and Ren7 loci of V. piasezkii DVIT2027. We used the genomic and transcriptomic data of eight sib-lines from the F1 population 11373, derived from a cross between the susceptible V. vinifera F2-35 and the resistant V. piasezkii DVIT2027. The eight F1 lines included: two lines (11373-158 and 11373-195) carrying Ren6 (Ren6+) and the alternative haplotype of Ren7 (Ren7-); two lines only having Ren7 (Ren6-/Ren7+; 11373-137 and 11373-137); two lines with both Ren6 and Ren7 loci (Ren6+/Ren7+; 11373-098 and 11373-145); two lines devoid of both Ren6 and Ren7 loci (Ren6-/Ren7-; 11373-130 and 11373-156).
