This study contains the whole genome sequencing of wild-type and Shu complex-deficient yeast treated with the DNA alkylating agent, methyl methanesulfonate. The goal of the study is to determine why cells deficient in the Shu complex is particularly sensitive to DNA alkyation damage. 98 samples were sequenced, including 76 from WT yeast and 22 from csm2-deficient yeast.
