The microbiome in Dermatomyositis associated with Interstitial lung disease and rheumatoid arthritis associated with Interstitial lung disease

Airway abnormalities and changes in microbiota were found in both patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and individuals at risk of disease progression. This suggests that the lung may be the site of rheumatoid arthritis autoimmune disease, and maybe a response to changes in the microbiota.
