Soil bacterial communities in rice-crab coculture system

High protein content diets and feces enter agricultural soils by the use of aquatic animal pellet feeds and paddy field coculture process. However, it is not clear about direct or indirect interactions among pellet diets, soils and microbes in response to protein content. In this study, soil bacterial community compositions and temporal changes in different protein content diets paddy fields were elucidated using a 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing analysis with a high-throughput next generation sequencer.
